Supporting Local Organizations with Strength, Conditioning, and Joyful Movement

What is better than an inclusive gym that has no mirrors, encourages joyful movement, and truly believes that health can be accomplished at any size? A gym that does all of these things while supporting other local organizations that service the community with love, purpose, and inclusivity.

My Health Matters Fitness is committed to supporting you in creating a sustainable movement routine that leaves you feeling as happy as it does strong. We truly believe that joyful movement is one of the pinnacles of a consistent and healthy movement routine. Over the last three years, we have had the opportunity to connect with several local organizations that provide a brave space to engage in activities community members enjoy. From softball and soccer to cheerleading and dance, MHM has collaborated with amazing local organizations in an effort to support members in safely participating in their chosen activities.

In 2025, Tiff Kreps, Studio Manager and Personal Trainer at My Health Matters Fitness, led a Strength and Conditioning series specifically for the Mary Vazquez Women’s Softball League, an adult recreational league based out of Northampton. For almost 50 years, the league has been “dedicated to creating a fun, inclusive, and safe space for women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and anyone who finds meaning and belonging in a women’s league”, as best put in their 2025 Annual Report. Already a valued member of MHM Fitness, Emily Fitzgerald, the League Commissioner, collaborated with Tiff to provide strength and conditioning sessions to members of the league at a discounted rate, subsidized by the league itself. In the 3 sessions offered between April and May, 22 members of the league participated to prepare their bodies for the upcoming softball season.

This year, Alyssa Diamond, Personal Trainer at MHM Fitness, will be using her knowledge of the sport to offer a 3 session Strength and Conditioning series to the Mary Vazquez Women’s Softball League. Sliding scale pricing is available from $15-$25 per session, subsidized again by the league to make this offering accessible to as many members of the league as possible.
