What is the cancellation policy?
For Classes: If cancelled less than 4 hours in advance, a full class credit or $15 fee will be deducted, depending on your package or membership status. If cancelled more than 4 hours in advance, there is no penalty.
For Personal Training: Please contact your Personal Trainer directly within a 24 hour window. If session is cancelled less than 24hrs in advance, a full class credit is deducted.
If the cancellation is due to illness, emergency, and inclement weather, please notify us at info@mhmfitwell.com for consideration to waive the accrued fee.
What’s the difference between the three class options?
Community Classes - You and up to 14 other members, in the large exercise room with one instructor. Provides a group fitness class experience.
Group Strength Training - You and up to 7 other members, doing circuit stations with one trainer. Provides a unique strength class setting.
Personal Training - You and a certified trainer working on your custom strength, mobility and fitness routine. Provides 1-on-1 attention.
How is My Health Matters different from other gyms?
My Health Matters in Hadley, Massachusetts is NOT focused on weight-loss or before-and-after photos. We want to work with you towards your unique goals, whatever that looks like. Our staff and trainers are queer-competent, beginner-friendly, community focused and love our jobs as much as clients love our business.
What awards has My Health Matters won?

How do I redeem my Gift Card?
Once you purchase a Gift Card, it must be activated. To activate your Gift Card, please email info@mhmfitwell.com.
Do I need to sign up in advance?
Yes. Registering in advance for sessions is recommended to give an accurate count for instructors to plan for their classes. You can reserve a class up to 30 days in advance.
Do I need to bring anything?
All you need to bring is a set of clothes that you are comfortable moving in, a pair of clean, supportive shoes, and a water bottle. Other than that, come as you are and we will meet you wherever you are on that day.
Is MHM accessible to beginners? Is it a good fit for experienced athletes?
Our personal trainers and instructors are ready to meet you wherever you are. This means that you could be looking to move your body for the first time or be an experienced athlete looking to hone your craft. We have Personal Trainers, Group Strength Classes and Large Group Fitness Classes appropriate for all levels.
What does HAES Aligned mean?
HAES stands for Health At Every Size. My Health Matters believes that no matter the size of your body, you can be healthy and move, even without the intention of making your body smaller.
